Mt Kinabalu Here We Come!

On: Tuesday, February 8, 2011

This 13th Feb, together with my friends, brother and cousin, I'm attempting to climb Mt Kinabalu for the 2nd time. Having experienced the Mesilau trail on my first trip, we'll take the shorter Timpohon route this time. If time & weather permits, we might try the world's highest via ferrata managed by Mountain TORQ.

My preparation this round is less than perfect due to festive season and work commitments. So I hope to stay injury free and lose a few pounds before the trip. Fingers crossed that the poor weather in KK now would ease up on us. It's not suppose to be the raining season but the weather patterns have changed so much lately that it is quite impossible to predict the weather.

This time we are doing some charity work besides having fun. We'll be climbing to raise money and funds for the Apex Penang Education Fund. Those interested to donate may do so by emailing me at
